Home Economics, Tuesday [Class 14]

The home ec classroom today was divided in half, with one-half of the stations being set up for cooking, and one-half set up for sewing. "Today is general review," Lulu said, once the class had settled. "You have the option of practicing either your cooking, or your sewing, whichever you feel requires more review before your final." She smiled. "If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. And I do hope that you have notes on all of your prior classes."

Summer felt like it was sewing that she needed to work on more than cooking. That said something about her sewing skills, and it wasn't anything good.

Hoshi wasn't worried at all about the cooking portion of the final, so she opted to practice her sewing.

Francine was better at cooking than sewing, so she ought to have been getting in some practice with the first.

Or, you know, she could make custard-filled popovers. Hmmmm...

Last time he had tried this, Andrew had managed to sew all his pockets closed. They had some fierce rhinestone accents though.

Practice was totally needed.

Amber definitely had to work on her sewing. So she did.

After some consideration Harry decided that since the sewing machine had it in for him, a little cooking practice was a better idea. He couldn't make the sewing machine behave, after all, but maybe he could end up making something tasty to distract from the disastrous sewing attempts.

He could have requested some sort of antique machine or done something by hand, but that would have been less delicious by far.
