Karal was still embarrassed when he opened the library. It didn't help that Altra wasn't letting him forget that he'd had a bird on his head.

"It wasn't my fault," he muttered to a snickering Altra as they got the library ready for the day. "It was a very small bird, and very quiet."

Altra just kept snickering.

No Karal, nor Altra either. They're off in class.

Libraries have lots of books.

Books in need of organisation.

Which would be what Karal was doing.

Did we mention there were a lot of books? No?

Well there are, so the organisation must perforce continue.

Karal was alone in the library. Altra had gone off to hint his own lunch in the preserve, leaving Karal to nibble on a sandwich.

Yup, still working on the books.

The shelves were incredibly tidy, Altra and Karal hunting out misplaced books and reshelving them correctly.

It was time for tea, in Karal's case, and milk, in Altra's, and work at the counter.

"Need any help?" Indy asked as he approached the front desk.

Altra looked up and Karal smiled and shook his head. "Just felt the need to make sure everything was in order," he replied.

Indy smiled and shrugged. "You kids are going to put me out of a job."

At that, Karal chuckled. "On the contrary, it means the little details are taken care of for you, so you can concentrate on the more important things."
