Under the School, Late Wednesday Night
It begins with a signal, one that can't be heard by any human or alien ear.
The signal starts off quietly, bouncing through time and space, until it reaches a small island off the coast of Lexington Park, Maryland.
Deep within the bowels of Fandom Island, the now-dormant equipment that had hopped the island around during the summer began to hum.
//Message Received.//
//Engaging...//
The night sky began to flash red. Once. Twice and then a third time.
And the island began to move once more...
This time to the middle of an ocean where the causeway of one island met the causeway of another island.
Nemesis Island.
