Hands-On Art, Class #3, Period 1

"Hi, everyone," Lily greeted the class. "I have what may be the world's worst headache. Lucky for me, you kind of have an interactive movie day. You're going to be learning to take some instruction. Those of you with previous art experience can learn some new techniques from this video, and those of you who have no idea what you're doing can get some sort of instruction. So you all have paints and canvas set up to work with, so while the video's playing, paint some happy trees of your own. Quietly."

[Sorry for the lameness. My trip of omg busy is over today and I'll be leaving for the airport in like an hour.]

Claire put her head down on the desk and watched happily. She remembered watching this show with her mom.

Claire was rocking the drawing of happy trees.

... seriously. It was kind of fun, in a cheesy way.

Not this guy. Wendy wondered if she could set the tape on fire with her mind if she tried hard enough.

Angela already had her sketchbook out, and was drawing out a vague tree shape.

She could totally do happy trees.

Oh, god. How Katchoo's eyes didn't roll right out of her head, she had no idea -- and she wasn't asking, because she didn't want to test Fandom's ability to make it happen.

Katchoo wasn't painting happy trees.

Her trees looked pretty pissed off, actually. Was that branch reaching down to wreak untold havoc on the unsuspecting passer-by below . . . ?

"Seriously," Katchoo muttered through her teeth, figuring Wendy's reaction was pretty close to hers. "Is this crap for real?"

Ned hadn't ever seen this guy but found his voice soothing almost to the point of putting him to sleep.

Peyton had to snicker a bit about the happy trees, but she had to admit that the man's voice was soothing and he did make some really nice paintings.

Peyton was pleased to have the time to make a different smaller version of the ski slope landscape for Meg.

Bender could paint trees. They were purple, and kinda spiky, but they were trees.

Bender narrowed his eyes at his picture. How could he tell if they looked happy?
