How to Keep Your Neck in Modeling: A Mercenary's Guide to Fashion - Fifth Period - 07/28

Deadpool had a couture gown in the classroom today. Through a series of odd events and three phone calls to a very confused man named Weasel... he managed to grab one. It was probably for the best of all involved not to think to hard on the matter.

It was for the kids.

"So! Haute couture! That crazy style that nothing seems to make sense, but it's still all purdy anyway. Today, you kids are gonna come up with a couture dress-- yes dress-- because I'm fuzzy on the existence of couture for men."

Which just made him think of The Limited for Men, only more gay.

"So, partner off and get crackin'! Use this lovely... dress as an example!"

Well, at least they didn't have to wear them.

He hoped.

Hannibal started poking through some styles while he looked for a partner.

Blair rather liked couture. Of course she liked anything that was 1) expensive and 2) highly likely not to be owned by anyone else.

So she was already thinking up ideas while waiting for a partner.

Viki was not entirely sure what to think of the dresses, but she supposed that they were pretty enough as long as those wearing them thought so.

She glanced around for a partner, puzzled and trying to figure out what sort of dress would count.

It almost makes you wish you had enough money to own one.

Or, at least, touch it lots.

"Should we be grateful he's not making us wear them, or does saying that doom us to doing so next week?" Romeo asked idly as he poked through styles near Hannibal.

"You read my mind," Hannibal said, nodding. "I was expecting the next step to be to put them on and dance or something."

Chad didn't care what anyone else said; he loved looking at haute couture stuff. Wearing it...well, that depended. But you had to admit, it was pretty damn interesting.

And, now that he thought about it, some of the Shinigami captains in the Soul Society seemed to dabble in it a little themselves. That was the only explanation for some of the things those death gods wore...

Well, except maybe the bucket head guy. That was actually functional.

Also, he really liked this (http://www.style.com/slideshows/fashionshows/F2006CTR/CDIOR/RUNWAY/00030m.jpg) one. NO REASON.

"Heels, makeup, making dresses, I'm almost certain the next class is a full drag show," Romeo nodded firmly. "If he brings up wigs, I'll know for sure."

"I don't think he realizes that there are guys in this class that don't really want to do that kind of thing," Hannibal said. "Or he just doesn't care."

"My bet is on the second, or that it amuses him," Romeo said, with a sour look. "Note that he doesn't demonstrate on himself, he just leaves the pleasures to us."

"So," he asked, idly strumming a sequined sleeve between his fingers, "have you any idea how to design a dress?"
