The Danger Shop was decked out to appear like a very large walk-in wardrobe with cubicles for changing. Along the walls were shirts, jackets, trousers, skirts and all manner of clothing and a variety of accessories that couldn't be listed without it ending up like the phone book.

"Okay!" the Doctor said once the students had gathered. "Before we get out there and really stretch our legs in the big old universe, there's one vital thing every traveller needs - a really impressive outfit. You can't go out there looking like you threw on whatever didn't smell horribly from your bedroom floor. Trust me, there are beings out there with a far better sense of smell than you and they can smell you a mile away." He scratched at his ear. "Oh, and always wear clean underwear. Personally, that's a given, but some people need reminding. Shirtlessness and nudity have been done and will probably get you arrested or swept off to a harem of some kind, so let's have none of that.

Right! So, onward. What we have here is pretty much every combination of clothing you might need to come up with an outfit suitable for galavanting around the cosmos. Fun word, don't you think? Cos-mos. Anyway," he waved it off, "you can't lug around a wardrobe full of clothing to fit in everywhere you go, so go with something that will suit as many different situations as possible and, most importantly, something that works for you. You'll be wearing it a lot, particularly in this workshop. Get something comfortable. If there's something you want that you can't find, ask the Danger Shop and ye shall receive. Go on then."

I'd stay away from anything with question marks and celery. Not many people can pull that off. Or red cowboy boots.

The Doctor is here, but wait for the TA to ping in if you want to talk to him.

Next week we'll do something adventurey as I will have net access. Huzzah!

Jenny stuck with the Union Jack t-shirt and white trousers she was already wearing. They'd served her well so far. She did, however, pick out a nice leather jacket to go with them in case it got cold or something. Or just because it looked cool.

Worf could only find a white dinner jacket that was his size. He ploed ahead anyway.

Marco stared blankly at the clothes. "I'm a guy."

Toby was amazed by all the clothes. "And I thought I was going to have to go shopping!"

So far Gwen had found her normal clothes good for dealing with aliens, but she didn't let that stop her looking through the jackets. You could never have enough nice jackets.

Liir Thropp

He'd come in a white shirt and black slacks (both clean, thank you, as well as the underwear underneat!) and he thought that suited just fine. After a moment, though, he added a long black suitcoat that was a size or two too big.

There. That seemed to do it.

Ella took advantage of the clothes to find a pair of jeans that fit her (even though not wearing a skirt seemed simply bizarre) and a cute t-shirt. She added a jacket and felt ready for anything.

Michael disappeared into the depths of the wardrobe, emerging with a leather coat.

Cal dressed himself up quite nicely for this, because he could, because he couldn't come by clothes like this often, and because one of the things he liked best about being male was looking sharply dressed ~~and exactly like this icon~~.

Lee Adama

Lee found a pair of dark slacks and a loose button up shirt. He figured if they were going to be running, he wanted to be able to run as fast as he could.

He added a pink bow tie for effect.

Teyla picked a simple, ~~tight-fitting~~ neutral colored dress out from what was there, thinking about blending in well, and Aly's lessons so far.

Dōjima grinned happily, and set about debating between a very nice pair of leather pants or a mini-skirt. Choices, choices.

Rodney McKay

Rodney looked down at his brightly colored t-shirt, which had a superhero logo on the front, and khaki shorts and decided to go with something that wouldn't stand out quite so much. He decided to go with a dark grey tee and black cargo pants (since pockets were always a good idea). He finished it off with a pair of black boots that looked like they'd be pretty durable and a black leather jacket.
