Lawyering Up: Class 13 Wed, Period 2

"Today is Opening and Closing statements," Nathan said. "In Opening statements you want to tell the jury why they're there, state your case, and state how you're going to prove your case. In Closing statements you want to tell the jury what you proved, what the other side failed to prove, and what verdict you want them to give.

"You're going to practice today with the case of Police vs. Jack Jones." Nathan indicated the sheet with the information. "Don't worry about all of the sections. Just skim it to get the details you need for your statements. Pair up. One of you is the prosecution, the other is the defense. Good luck."

Lucas only half-listened to the lecture, idly clicking his pen and scribbling notes that were more reminders of things he needed to do this week.

Eve was not a happy girl today.

Well, today she wasn't actually a girl at all, but you get the idea.

Wyatt was feeling a little better than he was on Monday, but he was still subdued.

She sat there, looking more than disgruntled, waiting for someone to come to her to partner up.

Chris Halliwell

Chris was totally not avoiding anyone. Nope, not at all.

He was a little confused about why there were so many strange dudes in the class though.

A stranger seemed like a good person to pair up with.

"Hey, I'm Chris," he introduced himself.

[Is that Leon you're using for boy!Eve?]

"Yeah, I think I know that already." Eve smirked. "At least now people can tell me and Savannah apart. Yay?"

[It is!]

Chris stared. "Eve? What the heck happened to you?"

"Fandom weirdness."

"Wow, that sucks," Chris said. "I was a girl last year. It only lasted a day, thank god."

Isabel Evans

Isabel was not particularly happy with life at the moment. She hadn't slept well.

And then she'd woken up.

The quote of the day was "Frakking Fandom weirdness."

She took a seat and attempted to pay attention.

Wyatt might recognize the shirt on the guy that took a seat next to him. It was one Isabel had stolen from him after the first night she spent in his room.
