Karal felt a little odd, opening the library on a Wednesday. Or he would have, if he hadn't been caught mid-taking-their-relationship-further by his roommate yesterday morning, and then woken up this morning with the girl he'd been happily mid-further with having turned into a man.

Compared to that, opening the library on a different day was frankly a relief.

Tea was good, tea and organising what he'd have to do for the day.

First thing to do: check in the returned books.

Second thing to do: Reshelve them all.

Lunch was simply a muffin and more tea, with his head buried in a book about polar bears.

He had no idea why, it was just the first thing which came to hand.

Third thing to do: unpack the new books, label them and get them entered into the system.

And now he was shelving those books, and making the rounds to ensure the library was neat and tidy before he closed up for the day.

I be sleeping soon, but then I be awake.

But then I have to go to work, arrrr, so mayhaps I be slow.
