Popular Culture [Thursday, December 20, 4th period]

There were coffee cups and pastries on the table and a big screen TV on the wall. Rose smiled at her class, "How are you lot? I apologize for not bein' around last week. Anyway, since this is our last week, coffee for everyone who wants it!"

Rose clapped her hands, "All right, let's get this finals on the road, TV. Video. An' feedback. Go!"

[please wait for OCD up! Slow Play is being!]

Shocker, shocker. Chad's documentary was about music. And it was detailed to a point where if someone who had never gotten stuck listening to Chad talk about music were to find it, they might be doubtful if it was actually Chad's.

Blackheart's presentation was, of course, entirely about how his own inevitable world takeover would affect popular culture as mortals today knew it. It involved long lists in point form with little poorly done flipbook animations illustrating that light bulbs would be many and emo rock bands would be few.

And then, of course, there was an whole scene about the wailing, crying population of the planet and how he'd just burn them all and eat their souls. Stupid emo kids. All of them.

It was entirely possible that he was showing his fangs through the whole presentation, as after this final was finished, he was free and could resume his preparations to make a mad dash for the causeway.

[I'd give this project a horrible, horrible F. But that is only because I like the planet. He did put effort into it... so maybe a C-?]

Gwynn had done a documentary about Cowboys (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhighdorms/1274093.html) and (http://neurotic-witch.livejournal.com/18650.html) love (http://fantastic-torch.livejournal.com/17075.html).

There was a lot of comments about how love was sometimes confusing to people around you... but mostly, she let the footage speak for itself.

[[Gwynn put a great deal of work into her project and may have taken it way too seriously. B+ or A? Done with the permission of Johnny and Chris' players.]]

Liz's documentary was about music, in particular it mostly focused on the Beatles and how they had affected popular culture.

[Liz probably would have gotten an A-]
