15 Ways to Protect Yourself and Others: Week 9, Period 3.

"Morning, all," Aly said with a grin once everyone was in the classroom. "After last class, you all deserve a bit of a break, so today we're going to watch an episode of Lightning Bug. And then I'd like people to pair up and discuss the relationships of the crew and how - in their own way - each of them tries to protect their shipmates. Again, we're looking for both straight up bodily protection with weapons if necessary and more discreet attempts - when the young engineer's emotions are considered or someone makes food for the entire crew to keep them going."

"Once you've discussed it, you're free to go because next week's class is going to be a doozy."

Convinced she was the only person in the class who didn't like Lightning Bug, Claire started doodling in her notebook.

It was mostly unicorns.

Zuko

*offers indigestion tablets for the blankets*

Zuko was there and sneering at the whole space thing.

Inara had never seen Lightning Bug before, so she was a bit confused by the crew, and who each actor was, and what they were doing there.

By the end of the episode, she was very intrigued.

Eve Levine

Eve sat there, randomly doodling and otherwise only half paying attention.

Peter Parker

Peter had seen this far too many times. And yet he was enthralled again. Dork.

S.T. Anders

Anders wasn't really paying attention at first, but he eventually got completely sucked into the episode.

Also, he decided that most of the crew was hot.
