Keeping Your Wits About You... [Monday 2nd Period 10-11] Class # 8 DANGER ROOM

Wilson was kicked back against the front of the table where he had laid out the morning's snacks. He had a cup of coffee and was wearing a particularly impish smirk. Once everyone was collected in the Danger Room, he crossed his arms and motioned towards a door.

"Beyond this door you will find a maze. You task for today is to work your way through the maze. There is a beginning, there is an end and that is all the instruction you are getting. You'll figure out the rules of the maze as you go along and I suggest you figure them out quickly."

Grinning he picked up a clipboard.

"When you get through the maze, you'll be in a seperate waiting room till everyone has had a chance to go through. Feel free to brag about your times for getting through the maze. Everybody ready? All right, first up ... "

Wilson called out a ~~handwavey as there is no order~~ name and sent the first student through the door.

[ooc: Work has sprung training on me for tomorrow so I will be afk from work which put a serious crimp in my original plan for this class. More instructions in the OCDs which ~~will be coming~~ are up! Have at!]

Collapsy please

Upon entering the Danger Room the students find themselves confronted with a maze (http://www.mazefrenzy.com/) which they will have to figure their way out of. There are some tricks to the maze which will put them back to the start till they figure out the pitfalls and the challenges and then work the maze itself.

[ooc: Okay so here's the deal. Your character is the red dot. Of course nothing horrible happens to your character but if the red dot resets your character maze trip resets. Feel free to play for as long as you like, swap tales of how addictive and evil this game is or handwavey to your hearts content.]

You made it through the maze! Now feel free to brag about your time or gossip about your weekend.

*Sighs* And I have someone sitting with me all day learning the things I do so no interweb for me tomorrow while at work.

So, how did everybody else do with that damn maze? My mouse skills SUCK.

Lana found a seat and looked around for Chris.

It kept doing little glitches and freezing for tiny bits of time and then I'd crash. *rolls eyes*

Plus my hands shake so that always helps. ;) I could usually get most of the way around the circle thing.

Isabel was still pretty beat from the bachelorette party and the trip back from Massachusetts. She found a seat and tried not to fall asleep.

"Hey," Chris said, taking a seat near her.

Savannah Levine

I couldn't seem to get out of the first circle no matter what I did. :)

"Hey," Lana said with a smile. "How'd you do?"

"I think I did okay," Chris said. "How about you?"

"Not too bad," she admitted.

"I had a really nice time Saturday. Thank you."

Chris smiled. "I'm glad. I had a nice time, too. We should do it again sometime."

"We definitely should," Lana said with a smile.

"And hopefully people will start minding their own business," Chris said.

"Summer seems okay with us," Lana said. "That was a relief."

"She told you that?" Chris asked. "That's cool."

Summer Roberts

"Yeah, she said she wasn't going to warn me off and she was fine with it as long as I didn't hurt you and she didn't think I would."

Lana smiled shyly. "I was really glad to hear it."

Chris flushed a little. "That's very good to hear. She kind of... went a little nuts when she thought Savannah hurt me."

Beauty took a deep breath as she stepped hesitantly into the maze. She'd definitely read enough classical literature to be worried about what she might find there, even if it was just pretend.

The pretend around this place was very realistic.

"I never want to hurt you," Lana said quietly.

"I know," Chris said. "And the same goes for me."

She smiled at him. "I know you would never do anything to hurt me."

"Have you... talked to Aunt Phoebe lately?" Chris wondered.

"Oh," Lana said, suddenly realizing that she was dating her best friend's nephew. "No, not yet. I probably should, huh?"

Chris nodded uneasily. "Yeah... I think she should hear it from you."

Lana nodded. "I'm sure she'll be fine with it. Probably."

"Why wouldn't she be?" Chris asked.

Lana shrugged uncomfortably. "I'm sure she will be. I just didn't expect so many people kind of warning me about me moving too fast and not being fair to you."

Chris rolled his eyes. "I hate that people act like I can't take care of myself."

"Or that I'm so careless that I'd just rush into something so I wasn't alone."

"Well, like I said, it's no one else's business," Chris assured her.

Another maze? Hoshi hoped that there was no hot cheese involved like the maze from Friday's Love Smart class.

Wyatt Halliwell

"Yeah, I guess," Lana said. "I just wish everyone else would realize that."

She sighed. "They've all been really nice about it and I understand their concerns, but..."

Chris reached for her hand. "I know. It's an unusual situation. But we'll work it out."

She nodded. "We will. And as long as we're both okay with what's going on, it's all good. And if at some point we aren't we'll let each other know."

"Exactly," Chris grinned.

Johnny Storm

Johnny entered the maze pretty confident. Until he found himself at the start again. And again. And again.
