Each group will meet outside the library. We will be exploring the wonders of L-space this morning with [livejournal.com profile] mitsumushi as our guide. She will take each group separately through the library and to a hut on the island we'll be searching. These huts are used to store ceremonial tablets and records of a long dead tribe of artisans, so apparently they technically count as libraries. Each team will be left at a different spot with their map.

The objective is to find your way to the treasure, document the trip, defend your teammates, keep from getting captured or killed, retreive the treasure and head back to the nearest hut. [livejournal.com profile] mitsumushi will meet you there for the trip back. Each group will document their progress separately on the [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh boards as this is a class exercise. Please keep it to a single, consolidated thread (more than one is allowed if it gets really long) and place the links in the comments section here so that it will count as course-work.

We're leaving Friday morning, but as L-space is a little weird, we might be getting back yesterday. (ie, you all have until Monday to complete the field trip.)

Note: The comment on the map of 'Landfall' is where the huts are that are the entrance and exits of this island for us. Also, due to the weirdness of L-Space, we may end up at the island centuries apart - right on top of the pirates who are burying the treasure... or before them, or anywhere from five minutes to five centuries after they're gone. Sky's the limit and controlled only by the group leaders.
