Peter was kind of nervous about his first meeting as editor, but, hey, there were pastries and coffee to calm his nerves. Unfortunately it was not decaf. That didn't help his nerves.

Jamie's eyes lit up a bit and he shuffled to the coffee machine. "Well I meant to sign up for the newspaper club but forgot completely about it. I don't suppose you have anything open for me? Obituaries or something?"

"We have people from all sorts of cultures going to school here. How about something like that, a piece about student cultures or something. Pick a few students at random, ask them about their homes, all that kind of stuff. Or if you have any ideas for an op/ed piece, I'm always open to those," Peter said. "I once wrote an opinion article about an Australian bird, so anything is fair game."
