An envelope is slid beneath the door of Professor Sidle's office. It contains the following:
1. Note of excuse from Mr. and Mrs. Addams, citing a family emergency for Wednesday's absence from classes 9/28-9/29.
2. A request for a copy of the handout from class 9/29 for the next class so that Wednesday can keep up with the coursework.
