Seimei glided in and reclined peacefully, pleased the discussion of gun control on campus hasn't turned ugly. He waved his fan toward the wall scroll with the day's discussion question and drank his tea.

Who was the father of hermit monasticism in Egypt and what impacts did he have on the region pre AD 451?

“Your essays assigned on 19th are now due.” Seimei gestured to the corner of his table where they should be placed before the students leave the class.

Sakura walked into class, surprised to be one of the first there. She glanced around a moment -- was she there at the wrong time? She was never punctual for anything, much less among the first to arrive. As she walked by Seimei's desk, she dug into her bag and placed her essay down on the corner of his table designated for them, smiled, and took a seat, taking out a notebook to take notes if necessary. She passed a smile to Maia, then popped open her notebook to scribble in it.
