Lee, have you made a decision as to whether to move to 201 or be my assistant?

301--Trust Games

*A heap of black strips of cloth are on the desk. As you enter, you are handed one. All the desks are gone today, and the blinds are drawn and the lights are off.*

OK gang, since so many of you enjoyed the touchy-feely of yesterday *Looks at Rory and Logan and Jack and Sydney* Today you are in for one of the more interesting trust games I've ever run.

If you do not want to participate, I'll mark you absent for the day, but this isn't something I'm going to force on you. And I'll warn you, if you begin to freak out, let me know and I will pull you out.

*walks around for a minute so that can sink in*

OK, put your blindfold on. Tie it well, no peeking. I'm going to take you by the shoulders and walk you too a place in the room. You will then be responsible to find others, identify them through touch and yes or no questions only, and then keep together and move on, until you've collected everyone in one group.

*She double checks that blindfolds are tied, places her hands on your shoulders, and moves you to a place in the room*

Ok, gang. Go ahead.

*She stands back to watch*

((OOC: This game will work best if you post anonymously. I'm going to consider that everyone is here, and no one is late. This is as much a trust game for the characters as it is a knowledge game for the players.

OK, rules.
If you respond to a touching post, keep detail to a minimum. Most people can't identify anything with a little touch of their hand. Say things like "long hair" or "male" ;)

If you choose to freak out, then post in character so I know who to rescue.
If you don't want to participate, please post in character so we know who ISN'T in the room. Thanks.

I have a feeling this is going to devolve into chaos, but it's fun IRL, so I thought I'd give it a whack. Game on.

*has a few doubts about this exercise but has blindfold firmly in place.*

I'll join 201, thank you, ma'am.

*shrug* What the hell, why not? *ties on blindfold*

Rory walks in. There are huge bags under her eyes, and her skin is paler than usual. It doesn't take a genius to tell that she hasn't slept well, if at all

"Professor, I'd prefer to marked abset for this activity. Is there any way I can abstain from participating in all further trust games that involve, um, physical contact with my fellow students? I'll happily make up the work some other way."

Well...okay....

*blindfolds self*

(Anonymous) 2005-09-28 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
She ties on the blindfold, though she's not quite sure about this

(Anonymous) 2005-09-28 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
*Decides that since the first 2 trust games didn't kill anyone, this one probably wouldn't either, and ties on the blindfold*

(Anonymous) 2005-09-28 06:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Er.. alright then...

*warily puts on blindfold*

Piper wanders into class. "I'd like to be marked absent for this activity. I'm not feeling very well."

She hadn't slept much and she really wasn't in the mood to deal with trust.

"I would prefer not to participate, professor."

*Puts on blindfold*

Okay. Where to?
