Seimei enters the classroom giving the current students a sharp eyed gaze before smiling. He glided over to unroll the discussion question scroll.

Discuss the importance of the Twelve Tables of the Roman law and its impact on western civil and criminal law.


“A reminder you still have an essay question due on Thursday. You have plenty of time to get it in, no extension granted,” and he gestured to the scroll still up from last Tuesday.

One salient feature of Herodotus’ narrative is his extensive treatment of non-Greek customs and religion. By analyzing particular examples, examine whether Herodotus portrays non-Greeks in a favorable or unfavorable way.
