Construction Site [Thursday]

Fraser's back at the construction site this morning and he is one hundred percent clean of cake. At least, he hoped he was. Having cake shoved in your ears and then thrown and smashed on you proved harder to clean than Fraser originally thought it would.

Every so often, he's rubbing his ears, just making sure.

"Good morning," he greeted the arriving workers. "I hope everyone's week is going well and that you've all come ready to work hard this morning. It's going to be a hot one so please drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade as needed. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to come and find me."

With that, he gestured at the goggles, tool belts and hard hats (pink for Conner) and then went to work.

Sometime, half way through the day, there was a ninja like attack.

If ninjas threw water balloons filled with Old Spice, that is. Still very ninja like though.

"Royal Canadian Mounted Police sucks!"

And then another water balloon was thrown, this one smelling of Maple syrup.

...it's best not to ask.

And it also came with a note: Thanks for the jackets!

Bel was there, working away.

And Bel was still there in the afternoon, idly wondering if he could somehow leave a mark of some kind on the new school.

Conner and his pink hard hat (now with mortar sculpture!) and goggles were there, and staying hydrated.

But staying well away from the mortar today. Oh no, no bricklaying for Conner -- he was over in the less rubble-y sections of the building, helping with some drywall instead.

Thankfully, he was not attempting to make sure the drywall got plenty of water.

Conner was back to bricklaying, having gotten chased away from his drywalling attempts when someone had spotted him eyeing one of the walls speculatively.

He was kind of indignant about the whole thing, really. Just because he'd been looking at the wall like he wanted to draw a Dino Thunder seal on it didn't mean he was really going to do it.
