Glitter [Thursday, third period]

"Hey guys!" Rory said brightly, waving. "Okay, coffee again today if you want it. And you're getting homework!"

She tossed a small vial of glitter to each student ~~in totally moddable colors~~. "Okay, your homework this week is to use up all of that. Use it in one blow, spread it out, whatever. Just get rid of all of it, and then come back and tell us how. Did you decorate your alcove? Did you dump it on boys' heads for fun and profit (and by profit I mean boykissy)? Just be creative."

"Now, today, we're going to do something a little abstract." Rory pointed to a table, upon which were several dozen cupcakes with white frosting. "Sprinkles? Are edible glitter. They even make sparkly kinds now. So you guys get to decorate cupcakes with edible glitter. Because in case you didn't figure it out last week, I like putting stuff on my food. So have at it."

She paused. "Oh, hey, Buffy, I need to talk to you when you have a second, too."

[Sorry for lameness of class. My brain wandered off and left me to join the circus or something. OCD ~~coming~~ up!]

Oh, and the sprinkles are fully moddable. Just don't, like, make them poison or anything.

She is totally not eating the spare cupcakes.

Luke Skywalker

Donatello

Huh. Someone left her a pink, sparkly pony. How bizarre.

Luke poured the bottle into his hand and spent a good fifteen minutes staring at it before finally getting about half of it to form into a lopsided little ball hovering over his head.

He looked absolutely thrilled at the accomplishment.

Luke wasn't sure about food that sparkled, but he'd give it a shot...

Buffy Summers

"Hi! You wanted to talk to me?" Buffy wandered over to Rory.

Liz Sherman

"Hi!" Rory said. "I want to know what happened to your cabin the other day."

Buffy grinned widely. "You mean when it went glittery? Did you see it? Wasn't it awesome?"

"I did! Molly and Katara said you did it!" Rory said. "How?"

"Oh, no, I didn't do it!" Buffy shook her head. "Ronan did it to apologize for being a total sleaze when we were at the Perk. He's a wizard." She paused. "He may have wanted to escape being disemboweled with a rusty spoon too."

Rory raised her brows. "Damn. Nice apology. I wonder if he'd glitter my stuff, too. I'd even let him be sleazy so he has something to apologize for!"

Buffy giggled. "You're very dedicated! I guess you could ask him? The cabin stopped being glittery at midnight though. But it was totally worth it! Everything was glittery!"

"And all the glitter went away? It didn't get stuck in random places?" she asked.

"Nope. Well, except on us, but the cabin and furniture and pipes and stuff all went back to normal. I don't really know how he does it," Buffy admitted.

"Magic," Rory said, shrugging. "I want to know how it works though because then I'll see if I can do my dorm room like that."

"Ooh, that would be cool," Buffy agreed. "Do you know who your roommate is yet?"

Rory shook her head. "I don't have one here and then I won't know at Yale until I get there ~~because my canon makes no sense~~."

Buffy tilted her head. "Isn't that kind of weird? Though it could be exciting, I guess, meeting a new person!"

"I guess," Rory said. "I don't know. I just hope I don't end up living with anyone weird."

Buffy's eyebrows went up. "Weirder than anyone here?"

"They could be normal and boring."

Cedric Diggory

Cedric knew what he was going to do with this immediately. Poor plant.

Although he was terrible with glitter and gremlins last week, this week involves sweets, something he's GREAT at.

Cedric set to work in making his cupcake a gaudy, garish masterpiece.

"Oh. That does sound pretty horrible," Buffy had to agree.

Katara

Katara eyed the bottle then pulled a stream of water out of her waterskin and started to see if see could mix water and glitter to 'glitterbend.'

Sparkly food was almost as good as chocolate. Katara sat herself down to make the sparkliest cupcake ever.

Buffy joined her. "Sparkly cupcake," she said happily. "This class is best ever, I swear."

"Between this class and the Carrots class? I love, love, love the summer," Katara agreed bouncily.

"What do you actually DO in Carrots class?" Buffy asked curiously.

"Laugh mostly," Katara said. "And try not to look at Molly or Sokka because they'll make me laugh more. Last time we had to rip up paper and make this glue stuff. Then the teachers tried to sell me a pidgeon."

"A pidgeon?" Buffy repeated.

"I don't know," Katara said laughing. "I think it might be a kind of bird ~~cause I can spll gud~~ but it could be an island somewhere. They're just crazy. They decided they were that Cedric guy's grandparents."

Buffy giggled back. "Freaky!"

Donatello shook his vial, peering at the glitter thoughtfully.

Happily, Donatello made a cupcake piled high with sprinkles.
