Jake settles down, eyebrows raising as he reads the questions. He starts filling out the answers, sitting for almost the entire class time. He aces it (barely).

Comes into class, signs the roll, gets the exam done with as quickly as possible since he's got other things to do that day.

If the exam is based on rote memorization of the text or anything visual (like something written on the chalkboard, or a diagram of some kind), he'll excel at it. If it involves interpretation of things he'll merely pass.

Wednesday spends a little over half the class period simply reading the exam. She spends the rest of the time carefully and methodically filling in the answers. All are correct, although some are a bit... oddly worded.
