"Nadia, when a joint is dislocated it's not just the bone that undergoes trauma. Tendons and ligaments and muscle fiber gets stretched in ways it's not supposed to be stretched and it's those injuries that need support and time to recover, especially when you suffer a dislocation in the same joint repeatedly in a short span of time. This is not just about fitting your bone back in place, the brace helps support your arm in the proper position to give the soft tissue injuries the best possible chance of returning to their original elasticity, pre injury."

Setting his hands on his hips, as he knew how stubborn Nadia could be, Wilson gave her a firm look.

"If you don't give the soft tissue the best chance to heal, the joint could remain unstable, slip again and again until you're looking at surgery to correct a chronic problem."
