"If guns don't kill people, bullets must," Parker pointed out. "And without them being used, they don't fulfill their purpose. Possibly the military industrial complex got its start with this war, and pushed it through in order to make a profit." She cocked her head. "Or possibly it's so freaking complex they'll be writing books about it for the next two hundred years."
