Loaded up with as much warm food and drink as he could managed in one go, Troy found a place to sit near the fire where he could enjoy and sort of gloat a little, even if only to himself, about no longer being one of the New Kids and for having survived his first semester away at boarding school and his first Christmas!

These were hardly small accomplishments, people!
